Designations:
Realtor
Real Estate Consulatant for LIFE!
Awards:
Business and Professional Women's Organization Young Careerist 2007.
National Western Regional Figure/Fitness division winner 2004.
Education:
I am a graduate of Arizona State University where I studied human behavior and interaction and earned my degree in Clinical Psychology. Understanding and balancing the needs of all of the people involved in a real estate transaction is imperative. One of my greatest assets is my ability to anticipate the likely emmotional reactions of the parties involved and to also to be able to see things from multiple perspectives.
Languages:
My primary language is English, however I am happy to refer you to one of my equally qualified colleagues who speak various other languages.
Comments:
I want people to clearly know who I am, what I stand for and why I am different from a traditional agent. I am a consultant who sees beyond the sale and as your consultant my job is to help you clarify your values, because when your values are clear, your decisions are easy. For this reason I would like to share my values with you:
My Values and My Philosophy
Character
Character is what builds a great life and business. Therefore, we are willing to do whatever it takes to align our behavior with our intentions
Service
Principle guides policy. We believe that our clients deserve to be treated with respect, to have their expectations exceeded not just met, and to make all decisions in the best interest of the client
Commitment
Consultants are for life. We believe people seek advice and counsel that best serves their lives. Therefore, we conduct ourselves as their consultant for life rather than a salesperson for that transaction.
Relationships
Close relationships are more important than transactions. We believe the only genuine way communication can be given is when it comes from the heart. We seek to communicate sincere caring for the people with whom we are consulting. This means we are willing to set aside our agenda for theirs.
Values
Great decisions are values based. We believe that the decision making process is easy when our values are clear. Therefore, as consultants, we understand our values and help our clients focus on theirs. We both gain clarity and build trust that is needed to take action.
Trust
By speaking the truth, we become trustworthy. We believe that every person has a hierarchy of trust within every relationship. Therefore, to be trusted we have to extend ourselves by being available, by volunteering information, by sharing our personal experiences, and by making connections with the experiences and aspirations of our clients. We believe trusting other people encourages them to trust us; distrusting others makes them lose confidence in us.
Growth
Progress, not perfection! We believe that learning is a lifelong process, not the acquisition of an idea. Therefore, as consultants, we have come to understand that evolving our competence and our character is a lifelong journey. We seek in others and in ourselves, progress- not perfection.
I am more than just an "agent" I am your Consultant, your Negotiator and the person who Oversees the details....
As your Consultant…
#1 As your consultant, I will ask you profound and insightful questions- questions that that the typical agent might not ever take the risk in asking. I will probe and inquire and discover what is really important to you. I will lead you thru the process of clarifying your values because when your values are clear, you’re decisions are easy. Consulting is also listening vigilantly to your answers. Only when you have confirmed that I’ve heard you, then I will craft a very specific, strategic, process to make sure that you get the best home/price. I will appropriately define the problems and differentiate essential objectives from less relevant concerns. I will anticipate likely obstacles to achieving objectives and identify sensible means to circumvent them.
#2 As your consultant, I recognize and balance the different needs of all the relevant people impacted by the decisions we make.
#3 As your consultant, I will recognize when serious flaws in my own ideas and actions require my swift public acknowledgement. I make mistakes. I’m willing to make dramatic changes in new directions when it is required. I will consistently demonstrate my ability to recognize my own personal biases in my perspectives. I will use this understanding to improve my thinking and our plans for action.
As Your Negotiator…
#1 As your negotiator, I treat your money like it’s mine. When it is time to save you or make you money, I’m like a pit bull. Since money is such an emotional issue, to represent yourself is like performing surgery on yourself…you never do that. You delegate that to a person who will make you healthy. It’s always in your best interest to have a skilled, experienced, and focused, negotiator on your team. You want a person who deals with your money to critically examine the accuracy of the underlying assumptions being relied on. While negotiating for you, I will skillfully articulate the strengths and weaknesses of the suggestions other agents are proposing. My negotiating skills alone are worth every penny you pay me.
#2 As your negotiator, I recognize the likely underlying agendas and motivations of the individuals involved in the situation. I also anticipate the likely emotional reactions of individuals to actions and communications.
#3 As your negotiator, I will appropriately articulate the essential flaws in the arguments of others and reiterate the strengths of our position. I will recognize when it is appropriate to resist the objections of others and remain committed to a sound course of action.
As the person who Oversees the details…
#1 I oversee all the transactional details and every transaction has 100-150 phone calls, each of them loaded with critical details. Every “I” must be dotted; every “T” must be crossed. The legal implications for making a mistake are far too costly. There are 10 different industries that get involved during the 7 stages of the transaction. I will outline the stages shortly. Imagine selling/buying is like flying an airplane across the country. I am the pilot and you are the passenger. We will run into turbulence. I have created a list of 88 different types of turbulence. As your pilot, my role is to oversee all these details. I recognize what is known about an issue, what more needs to be known and how to best obtain the relevant and accurate information needed. One of my greatest skills is seeing things from multiple perspectives, so I can identify likely unintended consequences of our decisions.
#2 As the person who oversees all the details in this transaction, I recognize the conclusions that can and cannot be drawn from particular exchanges with all the different people involved. I will appropriately consider the probable effects and the likely unintended consequences. That may result from taking a particular course of action.
#3 As the person who oversees all the details in this transaction, I will pursue and encourage feedback that may reveal an error in my judgment and then make appropriate adjustments.
